Eligibility

Submissions that do not meet these requirements will not be approved & reimbursed.

    • You must be an individual (not an organization).

    • You must be at least 18 years old.

    • You and your gathering must be located in the United States.

    • Your gathering must take place within 21 days of being pre-approved for funds.

    • You must not have previously received funds from The Wednesday Night Pizza Club.

  • We do not fund the following types of gatherings:

    • Digital gatherings (ex: Zoom parties)

    • Gatherings of less than 3 people

    • Weekend gatherings (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday)

    • Family gatherings (more than 50% family)

    • Organizational or transactional events

    • Extreme fringe, explicit, and cultic gatherings

    • Anything that could be considered illegal or harmful

  • All gathering hosts are required to submit a post-gathering form. This form will be sent to you via email after you are pre-approved. You will be asked to submit a receipt from your gathering showing your food expenses. You will also be asked to answer a few very basic questions about your gathering.

  • For the last eight years, two friends, Tyler Heath and Rich Speeney, have been talking about ways to mobilize people to gather. The Wednesday Night Pizza Club is their small way to participate in a larger movement towards a more connected world.

    They’re funding the free pizzas personally as they continue to experiment and refine the model.

  • There isn’t one. We’re not selling your data. There’s no “monetization plan.” We’re literally just trying to incentivize social connection in a new & fun way.
